"Day of Wrath" a wild storm

16.11.2010 - WORMS From Gunter Weigand CONCERT Bach Choir, Kantorei and Heidelberger Alzeyer Cantata Orchestra with Verdi's "Requiem" in Dreifaltigkeitskirche

Besonders nachhaltigen Eindruck hinterließ das massive „Dies irae, "like a theme should have more time during return of the Requiem. The chorus powerfully proclaimed the "holy rage" while the orchestra played Heidelberger cantata in a wild storm descending figures. The percussion acted so violently that it was imagined the day of Judgement lively konnte.Die solo roles particularly busy, especially Xavier Morano as a tenor. The lyric "Ingemisco" rang in his interpretation in radiant beauty, and would in an opera also made a good impression. Grunewald also Uta (mezzo soprano) was with her delicate but assertive timbre convince completely. They harmonize well with soprano Jacqueline Treichler, which was reflected in an enchantingly beautiful "Recordare.

Thomas Herberich brought his bass good for development, was threatening the "Confutatis" the darker aspects of his multi-faceted voice as he liked elsewhere with gently sung parts.

There was already an impressive achievement, as Ellen Drolet this massive orchestra had almost ninety minutes in the handle and moving her way. The orchestra did not hit over the traces, was positioned in the overall sound of chorus and soloists well. The cellos rendered in "Offertorio" at their considerably prominent figure some intonational Patzer, this however made it through expressive playing up for that. In "Libera me" was the musicians who perhaps best moment of the entire Requiem. Jaqueline Treichler shone here with a great solo that was accompanied only by the choir. Before they turn to the end happened, the orchestra turned on again to auszuklingen softly. The choir breathed twice "Libera me", then the Requiem was complete. For several minutes the applause rained one on all the parties who could be justifiably proud of this performance. Not only the individual performances were good, but also the interaction between the individual groups.

The KSC members followed their new president, even with the proposals to their representatives. Vice-Presidents were elected: Günter Pilarsky (1076 votes) and Günter Schattling (997 votes)

The good "Stadtratslüppo (Lüppo Cramer) was rejected by the members of poor 133 votes punished properly and plays after many years of board membership is no longer relevant at KSC. Lüppo Bye!

Earlier, the General Assembly in Part 1 of the marathon election (meeting lasted almost 7 hours!) All the best to Ingo and his team!

I am ill and can not for the General Assembly ...

Hello KSC fans

feverish for days I meet today's general meeting in order be when the new KSC-governing bodies are elected. But in the truest sense of the word I was now caught the fever well physically, and I lie flat with the flu.

I did yesterday and today just about everything refereed purely so expect the medicine cabinet like this, but my fair has just measured me again and the "marching orders" permanently withdrawn. 38.5 degrees fever are just too much, says the lovely lady. I would have gone anyway, but the house is our right to my fair. In about the same as if the referee determines the Unfit of the place. Then go and nothing more ...

My three wishes I would like to be before the elections still going on:

I wish a great result for our present "Notpräsidenten. He has done a good job and bringing them all rest in the club.

I wish an equally great result for his team.

I hope that the sponsor Greschner in the election for the Board receives a receipt for his behavior. Then please cancel the support and remove the init advertising from the game park. And, a fan-based initiative, the money is available Swimming. I also give my part.

Our "Stadtratslüppo" I find even a nothing. 'm Curious whether he is more than 100 Votes in the election for vice president gets ...

In this sense I wish a good general meeting!

your

Erwin

Words For A Baby Arrival

death and gentle tones of light

death and gentle tones of light

09.11.2010 - ALZEY
By Jürgen Gündner
Concert Choir and Bach Choir perform with Orchestra Verdi Requiem / Great voices of the soloists
A musical major event was the large audience in the packed St. Nicholas Church to do on Sunday night: Giuseppe Verdi's monumental Requiem for soloists, quartet, choir and orchestra was performed under the direction of Cantor Hartmut Müller .
nearly a year, rehearsing the singers of the choir and the Bach Choir Alzey Worms to this enormous work can now perform. Hartmut Müller had taken over the rehearsals here in Alzey, Ellen Drolet made the singers in Worms familiar with the challenging opus. The soloists were well-known one to win and internationally known singer - with the Heidelberg Orchestra Cantata they found a professional orchestra.
Verdi's "Messa da Requiem" is perhaps the climax of the romantic church music dar. any event, it expresses the deepest abyss of death and the fear of the people from the horrors of a "Last Judgement" in eindringlicher Weise aus, ebenso aber auch die sanften Töne des Lichts, der Hoffnung.
In "Offertorio" and in the different parts of the "Dies Irae" was the great voices of the soloists shine: Jaqueline Treichler than wonderful lyric soprano led about, but who could also soar to dramatic heights. Uta Grunewald with a very musical scale mezzo soprano. Xavier Moreno sounded beautiful, radiant, but also multi-faceted tenor and Thomas Herberich as expressive bass, which could develop, especially in the deep layers in all its fullness.
Overall it was a performance that left a great impression. The tedious work with the choir had been worth it: Everything was very accurate, but also sung with the necessary intensity, the soloists were able to develop wonderful on this basis, the orchestra played as a unified whole. A total power is due not least, the baton Hartmut Mueller and was greeted with standing ovations.
